The first words about The Accidental Billionaires, Ben Mezrich's upcoming book on the controversial founding of Facebook in the Harvard dorms--due out on July 14 amid much secrecy--are out: the New York Times, as usual, has obtained an advance copy of the book, and Brad Stone spills some of the beans based on an initial read, and in Boston magazine, Luke O'Brien, a Harvard grad, like Mezrich, who has done a lot of his own reporting on the Facebook origins story, writes a much more thorough account (with some replies from Mezrich) of his advance copy and the controversy.
